Beyond the blasting scales
A mission in Monster Hunter World following the big boss fight.
These two tempered Bazegeuse are no joke working together and
following one another as you fight them all over Wildspire Waste.
Going into this mission I'd have to recommend a thunder powered bow
and various supplies such as dung pods, flash pods, tranq bombs, along with
pitfall and shock traps. While grounded to take one of these massive creatures
down you should aim for the legs. If dealing with them together using
dung pods to split them up is recommended. Also when they take flight
using your flash pods aimed at the ground when the monster is flying towards you
works really well to ground the monster and give you a chance for a few good hits.
After using this strategy to beat down one of the Bazelgeuse follow one to the
den and capture it. Remember you can only have one of a specific trap
at a time. So if your alone on this mission you will have to either
kill the second monster or use the other type of trap to capture it.
The rewards alone for capturing both Bazelgeuse make it worth the effort.
Also your less likely to faint seeing that the den is small and does not leave
much room to avoid the monsters blasting scales. It's worth the trouble
capture both Bazelgeuse.
