In SPLAT, we did away with squads for a couple months and it went great. We just put color squads back in.Interestingly enough, I feel like when there are squads in a clan you get some members who are more loyal to a captain or squad than XG as a whole. Without squads, Captains may not feel as directly responsible for recruiting, educating, and working with newer members of the clan. So, there are advantages and disadvantages to whatever way you choose to run your clan.</blockquote>
