There will be a 'War of the Worlds' event on CoD Advanced Warfare TOURNAMENT STYLE Saturday, November 29 @ 7:00pm EST. If you're interested, please add the following XBL tag: 'WotW Event'. [SPAM]
8) Event Layout (Maps, Game Modes, Time limits, Etc.):
Maps will be randomly selected.
Game Modes will be eSports Modes (Momentum, Uplink, SnD, CTF, and Hardpoint) Also randomly selected.
9) Special Rules or Regulations:
If a member of a team quits after start, the team can still proceed without them and if that team wins, they CANNOT replace their teammate, they must play without him. BUT, if a member of a team decides to be verbally destructive, disruptive, or in any way, shape or form, make the game/tournament unenjoyable (this includes T-Bagging), the team with the member will be disqualified from the tournament and the other team will be awarded victor of that round. In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden death/OT where another random map and mode will be selected. If another tie, this will repeat until a victor is crowned.
10) Other:
The idea of a tournament has always excited me. We could have 8 teams of 5 (allowing room for the host and/or co host to observe the matches) and have a tournament bracket. Unfortunately, since it will be a team based tournament, there will not be any prizes other than bragging rights for it being too expensive to supply every member of the winning team with a prize. When it comes to selecting teams, the Host will get one side of the bracket and the co host will get the other, this being said, they will be their team's 'Captains' per say. The other six team's 'Captains' will be selected by the first six people to add the XBL Tag. Once the 'Captains' are selected, we'll select which teams face who by doing it 'playoff style'. For example: The first one to add the tag will be 'seed 1' the second will be 'seed 2' and so on. The first four 'seeds' will get the left bracket, the other four will get right. The 'seed 1's' of each bracket will square off against the 'seed 4's' of their side of the bracket along with 'seed 2's' and 'seed 3's' squaring off. Once we have which teams face who, the six 'Captains' will 'draft' per say their team by going onto the event's XBL Tag's friends list. They will do so one at a time taking turns until all members are on a team. Those members will then be informed on which team they're on and it will be recorded on who gets who. The Host or Co Host will invite all members of the teams into the game. Game one will happen @ 7:00pm EST, game two @ 7:30pm EST, and so on. If you add correctly, all games will be over around 10:00pm EST and a victor will be crowned.
