Font layer drop shadow would make a world of difference if you insist on putting white lettering on a white or highlighted background. Doesn't have to be much. Less should be more in this case but is needed imo. Also might try finding 2 fonts that aren't so far from each other as far as style...

off topic.... what the hell is going on with xgc as a whole?? i have pretty much no one posting on my clans forums. i see very little posted here. i just checked sig of the week and there were only 5 votes..?? what gives? my first app i had 30 people ripping my sigs apart and critiquing...
