Lets look at a comparison of Xbox vs PS3 online play for my detailed instruction I will focus solely on 2 stand alone titles from both consoles Killzone 2 and Halo 3 seems to be about the right choice for comparison and as I do play both quite often on the same day my net connection should be about even the only difference there would be my PS3 runs off its internal Wifi as opposed to my Xbox which has a direct connection to the router >.> which technically means my PS3 should have a slower connection but we won't quibble about that the reason I have chosen the two games is because the are console exclusive titles with Online components designed strictly speaking for its particular console Now lets start with Max players online In Halo 3 the max amount is 16 players often times I have jumped into those games and they are riddled with lag for Killzone 2 the max amount is 32 now these large games have actually often been essentially lag free for me I think I have seen it lag once since I have been playing Killzone 2 While Halo 3's standard match sizes are usually about 8 players often times I will find these games riddled with lag issues as well don't get me wrong halo does have its good days but lag especially in SWAT definitely can mean the difference between a kill and a death even if its only a very small amount of lag in SWAT often times you can definitely tell who is host on Halo 3 I have never seen that issue on Killzone 2 to date So when you compare which has a stronger online component I am definitely gonna have to cast my Vote for PS3 because So far every Exclusive title on the PS3 I have found has an amazingly strong MP Whether it be MODNation Racers with its large lobbies Killzone 2 with its 32 player games or Even MAG's servers handling up to a whopping 256 players it definitely crushes the 360's 16 max players with **** tons of lag :D
