Message: <blockquote data-quote="XGC Filters" data-source="post: 279010" data-attributes="member: 43653"><p>One thing that I really liked about Modern Warefare 2 was the sniper friendly maps, they were large enough to facilitate effective sniping.   Since I started playing Black OPS I still sorta snipe but am forced to use the M-16 with a ACOG scope, I was amazed how far across the map this weapon will reach, and even though you don't have the variable zoom scope that is accessable with every sniping gun.  I still make the longshots and because three rounds go downrange everytime you pull the trigger verses 1 from a sniper rifle I can still put people down from long range.  I can't wait for the new map packs to come out so i can see if they better facilitate sniping and then maybe I will actually use a sniper rifle.</p></blockquote><p></p>
