Does anyone know where they spawn or how to make a slime farm on minecraft for xbox? Even a website that tells you the locations would be helpful.

I've tried youtube and I have done what its said to do. I've played on easy thinking that might work but have had no luck....well besides the area being a good spawn point for monsters. I am also workimg on my 3rd attempt to create the slime spawn.

i may have found out how to get them, 1. dig all the way down to bedrock, play on Peacefull mode for this. 2. make a big room 4 blocks up from bedrock. 3. Light up the room with a lot of torches. 4. hopefully Slimes will spawn, im trying it out right now

I have been working on a massive room. Does it have to be on easy or can it stay on peaceful for them to spawn

it has to be on easy or above. The video also said it they wont spawn if you just make a random area. You have to make a few in different spots and eventually they will spawn. Also you dont have to light up the area if you dont want to.

Im not sure how long, i just left the area and went back to the surface to do a few things. When i went back down to the portal they were there.
Clear an area on the bed rock say 30x30 or larger (slime only spawn on 10% of the map) so light it well go to sleep (I don't know why this helps) when it's night time and you should have slime when you awake. Also hit them with your hand or a block to get the highest yield a sword will not give you any slime balls most of the time.
