Message: <blockquote data-quote="XGC Filters" data-source="post: 283205" data-attributes="member: 43653">I have to admit I loved to snipe on the last installment of Call of Duty Modern Warfare.  I thought sniping although frowned upon by alot of gamers and misconstrued as camping.  I think to snipe and to be a good sniper takes not only alot of patience but also alot of skill considering your sight is bouncing all around till you hold your breath then you have just a few seconds to aim and take the shot, this is a very small window of opportunity, and as we all know a good sniper definately gets his man with the first shot.  I have tried sniping in Black Ops with very limited success, and actually when I am going for longshots like on Array, and Jungle I use the M-16 with a red dot and silencer much as I would a sniper rifle.  The M-16 has great range is very accurate, and because it has a three round burst your chance of hitting and putting your target down for good goes up quite a bit.  So here is my pro's and cons list of sniping and please feel free to add your own pro's and consPro'sLow Kill to death Ratio.Little Exposure to opposing playersOne Shot one kill abilityIf you get the right spot very hard to remove you from without being open to a sniper bullet.Slows gameplay down alot, giving you a chance to really scan the screenPretty fun sniping the same enemy as her comes back time and time again to kill you.Consunless you adept at quick scoping your sniper rifle is useless when heading to your sniping spot.Limited to your secondary firearm in a quick close up fight.Inability to snipe a enemy who Halo jumps, and uses light weight perk along with marathon.Once you get a few kills even if you are camoflauged very well your position is compromisedLow player scores</blockquote>
