I have had many friends join and as soon as you are done with all your training, if you dont do some sort of specialized training after ie sniping, you get sent out right away. Personally i dont think you wanna come fresh out of high school and about a year later be right on the front lines. Air Force and Navy are more laid back and arent really on the front lines. You need to have decent grades to get into the Navy or Air Force though. This is all i heard from my friends who have joined so if any of you know for a fact.
