I am curious with each Call of Duty series there seems to be improvements and new additions of weapons. For instance in this installment of Call of Duty there are alot new gadgets and gizmos to wreck havoc with such as the RC cars, personally when i hear the whine of a RC car it makes me alittle edgy because the enemy cars always seem to find me. but there are alot of other cool killstreaks you can unlock and use.

However, I noticed that my favorite gun from Modern Warfare didn't make it over to the Black Ops series and that was the SCAR, I loved using this weapon in Modern Warfare because it had good knock down power, was accurate, and had excellent range. I don't understand why they needed the Famas and the Aug they are basically the same weapon and have the same stats. They should have kept the Aug and in place of the Famas they should have put the SCAR back in black ops.

Overall I think the Weapons and perks in Black ops are alot better than in Modern Warfare I just wish they would have brought the SCAR over into Black Ops.

I agree. The SCAR was a very good weapon in Modern Warfare 2 and probably my favorite weapon in that game. However, I don't think they should put the SCAR in place of the Famas. I think Black Ops should come out with an add-on that introduces several new weapons and maybe have the SCAR included in that weapon pack.

you have to understand that black ops takes place 40-50 years in the past... my guess is that the scar wasn't invented until after the vietnam and cold wars...i don't know that for fact, but i'm sure they tried to keep the game fairly historically accurate

coleslaw is exactly right on what he is saying the scar is a gun that was made after the time period that the game take place in and the guns they have are all time period guns they would have been able to use

thx for the info... i figured that that was the case... i'm kinda surprised that all of the weapons and tech in black ops is from the 60's and 70's, but i suppose that military tech is more advanced than civilian tech...
