Bold Phrase: You're exactly right. They are the same in every game . . . except for MW2. In previous games (IW and Treyarch both), there have been tubes and a perk that increases explosives damage. Maybe it was only me, but I found the tubes to be a complete waste of an attachment. I didn't find their damage, even with the perk modifier, to be anything a standard frag couldn't put out. In MW2, they powered up the tube to keep it from being a waste of an attachment, but just like many other things in MW2, they went completely overboard with it. Add in a perk that allows tubes to kill by hitting a wall all the way across the street from where I'm standing, and it gets quite frustrating. You're also correct that it's not IW's fault that players choose that setup, just as it isn't their fault that players use the Marathon/Lightweight/Commando combo. The issue remains that they didn't have the foresight to realize that these things would be horrendously abused. So, I don't blame them for players using it, but how can I blame players when IW so readily served up so many easy kills. In my opinion, this takes away from a game that had the potential to be great. As for your EDIT: I've never been a big Bungie fan, and I'm certainly no serious Halo player, but they gained a lot of my respect by following through with their ban promises. I figured they were mostly trying that as a scare tactic, but the best way to scare people away from something is to actually do it. Again, my boosting comment was more a commentary on how I see the community more than the game itself, which I've found to be extremely enjoyable. Now that I've strayed a good hundred yards from the topic at hand, I really enjoy Medal of Honor. I haven't seen any of the single player problems mentioned previously, and I think the multiplayer is a lot of fun. Lag has been a bit of an issue, but that is to be expected when you try to connect 24 people together in one lobby.
