Call of Duty must set high standards. Millions of pre-orders don't lie. Dice aside (and I do believe they make decent shooters), most games have to deal with camping and boosting. It's simply a product of the gaming community that exists today. I loved hopping on to Reach three days after it was released to find that all of my friends were already pushing Captain because they can pick up a check point and use a targeting locator. The only reason Dice hasn't previously dealt with much camping is because it takes fifteen minutes to get to where the action is . . . it doesn't often come to you. Also, it would be impossibly difficult to dumb down MW2's multiplayer. All you need to pull off an MLG K/D game is to attach a grenade launcher to your M4 and use Danger Close with it. It is arguably (and I stress that word heavily) the worst CoD multiplayer to date, with CoD3 being the only obvious exception. In an attempt to smooth the learning curve, they made it so n00b-friendly that it's impossible to tell who's any good. It would just seem that assuming Treyarch is going to make a bad game is about as dumb as I was when i assumed that Infinity Ward would make a good game.
