[QUOTE="thumbstickchick, post: 526415, member: 71737"] i have played a lot of games over the years. probably thousands. from the days of double dragon, streets of rage, sonic, mario. i could go further back to pong even but we wont even go there. i remember looking at streets of rage and being blown away by the graphics. i remember teeing off in virtua golf with my jaw dropping at the detail of the course. remember my heart pounding and the sheer fear of the jump scares in resident evil on the first playstation. that game was scary as hell... who doesnt recall the ifrst time the licker drops from the ceiling ang lashes its tongue out at you. dragging lara croft around for weeks in tomb raider trying to figure out what in the hell switch i should be throwing. the huge dinosaur cornering u in that little alcove. awesome. and awe some. games have come a long way since even then and i have played every genre there is but less than a year ago i got my gold account and ventured into the world of multi player ... and all the rules changed! i was die hard single player campaign mode gamer this whole time and now i find myself a little overwhelmed, like there was a homework assignment i missed and everyone in class seems to have read up on something i wasnt told about. there are maps to memorize and tactics to follow and strategies were laid out and discussed and there i stand with a pea shooter on a battlefield full of bazookas. my question is ... what is a grizzled vet newbie to do in this new arena?
