JUST AN IDEA TO DO SOME FREE ADVERTISING

I wonder if it was possible to put together a short tidbit of what XG as a whole is about, what we offer, and what sort of opportunities are available in the community. As well as a link to the site and such, and if I could put a few wall posts up on games and platforms we're currently active on, on facebook?
The contents of which, of course read over and approved by Division leaders, or Council members.

I think it is okay if you do. Generally if you are posting a recruitment script on a website you do not need permission from the council.
Just make sure the content is factual and sticks to the honor code and you should be okay. Websites such as the xbox.com and bungie forums are often covered with a few XG recruitment notices.

make sure to also follow the rules of whatever site you are on... as that would be respectful (eg if the website says no spam, make sure not to just spam out the message)...

also XG already has 1. a facebook profile, 2. a facebook page, and a 3. a facebook group... we also did have a myspace, but i don't think hardly anyone is on myspace anymore...

Alright, I was just double checking. I didn't see there being an issue, but no harm in confirming. I'll find the links to the page/group/profile and include them with the recruitment script, and i'll make sure to keep the posts to a minimum to avoid spam.
