In my case, escalation for me means from the least controlling (talking through the problem so it disappears) to the middle (temporarily muting until end of game, booting and re-inviting, getting offline or playing a different game, making a remark or ultimatum about the problem.), to the top of the heap!( Mute, boot, scoot, ban, avoid, etc. I wouldn't worry about being reviewed bad, because it happens to everyone. If it helps, asking friends and nice randoms for good feedback isn't a bad idea, unless they aren't nice. So be careful how and when you bring it up. As r4b1d s0ul and you stickchick have found, the nuclear option quickly gets rid of the problem. Any choice gone sour can give reason for retaliation and new problems or mere pinpricks as stick has found as well. I just enjoy turning enemies into friends when conditions entice me to try. Or just fix stupid when it gets in the way. Should I elaborate more. It's fun.
