As we all know the halo 2 speed is faster than H3, who here knows the correct settings to make the HALO 3 characters move the same speed as the halo 2 character's?

Ive actually hearing some rumors floating around that the old H2 speed among several other H2 things are being released in a update with the Mythic map pack. Not sure if there is any truth to the rumor but here's to hoping
Hmm, I doubt they would do that, I don't even think thats possible, it would be a huge change.
Just about everything would be affected if they were to change the base player speed. Don't get me wrong, I like the H2 run speed, but there is a reason why they lowered the speed in H3. They made the maps in H3 designed to a certain scale and everything changes if you change a basic part of the game like that. You can already change player speed in game options anyways, just turn it up 10% and you can make new jumps that you never could make before, strafe WAY faster, throw grenades farther to name a few.
