I love DBZ and DBGT but for the best anime series in my opinion as far as interesting and awsome action packed story, I choose Full Metal Alchemist. I also like High School of the Dead, I have been meaning to watch season 2 because the first one was just so amazing.
i miss full metal alchemist but i never seen high school of the dead is it good?
I find a lot of brief half naked nudity in it lol but the story is actually rather awsome. It starts off a normal day in high school and then bam! Zombies attack. It is still an unfinished due to the adaptioon from the manga, but so far everything is awsome.

well everyone loves the normal bleach and naruto, but two that i really loved and wish were still playin are code geass and death note, at first i was very skeptical about them but honestly they were my fav series
i member them i dont know why they took them off i never really watch them both but when i did htye seemed pretty cool

Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood is better IMO), I used to like Bleach a lot, I've kinda stopped watching the anime and only read the manga now. Code Geass was good too, pretty dark at some points.
If you like good mecha suit anime, I recommend watching the film Zone of the Enders Idolo, its on youtube in sections, the anime is based of the ps2 games which I am thrilled that they will be bringing them to XBL in 2012. There also is a series coalating after the short film but I never watched the series. Some say this anime was a gundam ripoff but I thought this movie was very inspiring. Great japanese music as well.
I didn't really like the Db series but I loved the dbz series, I grew up with all those episodes, best saga was cell in my opinion, epic ending with gohan going ssj2
