To top it off, I've played a few CC matches against Atrocity, so I've got a decent feel for how 'skilled' you guys are. However, the issue remains . . . For another example, if you were to look at my combat record (independent of the lobby leaderboard), you'd notice my K/D which sits somewhere between 2.1 and 2.25. The range is a based on the fact that I only have about 7,000 kills, so a bad game affects the ratio more than it will when I get to 30 to 40k. Now, say we're playing HC HQ. You've got that 2.1-2.25 figure in your mind, but because my Merc TDM K/D sits right around 4, you'd be overestimating my 'skill.' That said, I'm pretty sure the lobby leaderboard is gametype specific, and if that's the case, it eliminates some confusion. Still, I don't know for sure, so I'll reserve any further comment. Now, K/D is easy to manipulate into any light, but I still enjoy having a high one. Christmas is on it's way, and many thousands of players will be jumping in for the first time, so I think K/D inflation is on its way.
