SOTW IV STOCKS VOTING

A game (series) theme would be a great idea.
As for the anonymity issue, I believe (maybe too optimistic) that everyone here plays fair. I know that a rule was added after the reboot of SOTW a couple of months ago that one could advertise the SOTW, but not their entry. After that, I didn't see anyone pimping out their submissions. I think we're all honorable to let everyone have a fair chance to win. After all, we're a clan built on honor (code).
P.S. I gotta stop voting in these things. Everyone I've ever voted for always end up the one's with the least votes ;_;

if it helps you sleep better gavin i always look at the bottom one first then too the top because my comp goes atomatically to the last post, so im at the bottom of the page already so i look at the first one i see, which happens to be the last one (i hope that made sense)... and even though i looked at the vampire one last i still voted for it, and i didnt know whos it was and i didnt choose it simply bc of colours or the render. i choose it because i thought it was good and i would use it. thats how i always vote

we can do it based on skill. (IE if you dont think you can "play with the big boys" ) So next week we will try something like that. Ill hit up kill about it
That's kinda controversial, deciding who can compete with the higher skill levels and who has to settle for the "beginner" bracket.
Well it will be like this.
If you win the lower SOTW more then 5 times then you HAVE to go to the higher one. But also if i see someone with skill enuff to be in the higher one then ill say they cant be in the lower one

Or we could have NON design team people compete for the less experienced sotw

You've been discussing the voting that goes on because people tell other people to just go vote for them, and you want to add in a SKILL RANK to the contest based on how many times someone wins? Seems flawed.
Eh, it's cool. I'm just hatin on myself. lol I'm only trying out stuff cuz I have done nothing but "Self Taught" work, and I wanna see how many votes I can get. I just learned after the last SOTW how to make a ".gif" and make it look like it's raining. lol Which brings me to my next question. What's the best site (or some of the best sites) for Photoshop Tutorials?

yeah, more info on those classes to come, my syllabus is almost complete.

I kinda like gavins idea for the sotw for non designers and then a seperate open to all contest as well it would give aspiring designers more of a chance to test their work vs others closer to their skill level
