I don't think you should put what designer goes with what sig. It should be a blind vote. When I voted, I had not read the first post you made that said who did what and I simply voted for the one I liked best.

Also, the fourth one down confused me, seeing as we have over 35,000 registered members.

We had an idea of this awhile back ago (which we will have people send in there Entries for the SOTW and blind vote it.)

It will be brought up in the meeting though thanks for the idea

In order for that to work you would need to make them PM you or some other leader like Rez or someone their entries of course. You would also need to make sure their names not on it, b/c i put my name on all of mine.

I agree with OCM on this. I don't think we should put the designers up either. this way people are voting on skill rather than friendship. =)

I agree. It's too easy to want to vote for a friend instead of the sig that stood out.

but you need to remember 35K is just the registered users, MANY of them have either been kicked out, left the community, or are no longer active.

There are roughly a 150 user groups (clans) throughout all of XGC KOG SYN and XGG and some of those usergroups are the Generals, Captains, Design Team, Section Leaders, Video Team... ect.

So figure 35,000 members / 140 clans = 250 members per clan. We all know that that's not the case so maybe we need to stop throwing this 35K number around. It's not what our real number is.

Don't get me wrong I understand where you're coming from Masterleaf, there should be more votes but when I hear people talk about 35K members I know that number doesn't mean anything becuase it's not representative of our community.

Why do we need to pad our number? Quality over quantity is what we need to focus on. It's about WHO WE ARE, not HOW MANY WE ARE. When I hear people say that we have 35K members I know that's not true. I don't really care what the ACTUAL number is, but neither should anybody else. If we're trying to impress people by saying that number we're only trying to fool ourselves.
