Nothing is finalized with the new site. There will still be changes made and errors fixed. They will be done over time.

Well I expected ups and downs. In this regard, I wasn't disappointed. The downs are currently out weighing the ups, but so long as it's not permanent, it may be a good move to update. A list of Pro's and Con's may help them so we may want to make a Thread dedicated to figuring out what we want, and what's possible.

Is there any way to have a light background instead of black?

I prefer the darker background actually. Honestly, too much white bugs my eyes out after awhile. Still looking around at all the changes, but my only complaint is how condensed everything seems now. It just doesn't fit well on my tablet like it had before. And the odd left centering of everything leaving a giant black, empty space.
