I just came back from MEPS and everything yesterday and took the oath of enlistment, for the Marine Corps. My ship date is November 1st too. Any tips or anything i should be preparing for now.?

lots of running and getting in shape. also, work on learning military history. that will help you alot. talk to your recruiter alot too.
they will teach you everything you need to know. Just make sure you are in shape. Endurance is key.
Yeah, being in good shape is one thing you don't wanna have to worry about. Just be prepared to get yelled at, even if you do everything perfect they're gonna get in your face no matter what. Listen to everything your instructor says the first time they say it, they won't repeat themselves. Just be on point and help out your fellow recruits if you've got every thing squared away.
my big thing that helped me out was to stay out a sight out a mind. the drill sergeants didnt even know my name till the last week of basic. if u do what your told all the time and have attention to detail. basics easy...its when u get to ur unit is when it gets harder
Just understand you are going to be in the military and there will always be someone telling you what to do.
just do what you are told and make it through. congrats and welcome to the proud 2% that get to defend this wonderful country.
