I understand and agree with what Council was thinking when it comes to the change BUT i have one question.. And this also covers the Decision to stop captian classes and no more Interviews. . Favorites. . Smaller clans is a good thing i see clans get up to 100 or more people BUT are we not worried about people getting promoted who don't deserve it? Only cause their buddy got them the promotion? We all have seen and still see leaders not wanna do their jobs and dont get me wrong there is always a reason may it be a good one or not. . IF we want smaller clan why not 40 makes the leader of the clan work for it but not too hard lol and bring back classes.. IF SOMEONE wants to be a leader, to help shape the community show they not be trained the way the Council want and atart early? Anyone that knows me know when i was Section leader Captain Classes were a pride for me.. i strongly recommend them and use to teach them.. i took and aces the old generals classes and XS class back then you wanted that position you had to earn it..
Not saying people today did not earn theirs.. lol please dont take me wrong.. at the end of the day council has made this community strong and kept it there for ALMOST 10 years.. this is just my thoughts.. As for 10 year mark thats a topic for this winter

Captains classes, and all other classes, will be back. They are currently being revised.

As for the other question, the point for this structure is so people don't have to jump through so many hoops to get promoted. The number is just a guideline as double said. Clan splits will only happen when the leadership is ready. Promotions will only happen when the member has earned it.

Hopefully that helps,
- EM

The King's Fall raid in Destiny's next expansion, The Taken King, will not be in the game when it launches in two weeks, Bungie told IGN at PAX Prime this weekend.

Luke Smith, the expansion's director, said the studio has a plan for when it will launch, which will be announced later. "People who are excited about the raid will know when it's time to take time off work," Smith said,.

Bungie has been discussing features of the large expansion over a live stream series which wraps up on Wednesday at 2 p.m. In the last stream, the studio gave an in-depth look at the three new subclasses The Taken King will offer, including the skill trees for each.

The designer responsible for the expansion's strikes also promised to "bring more personality" to strike bosses and reward players with exclusive gear for completing them.

The Taken King concludes the first year of Destiny, and will introduce Nolan North as the new voice of the player's Ghost companion. The expansion launches on Sept 15 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

HALO 5 OPENING CINIMATIC

Microsoft and 343 Industries have released the opening cinematic for Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo 5 is Microsoft’s biggest effort yet to lure gamers to the Xbox One video game console, which still trails behind Sony’s PlayStation 4 in worldwide sales. Since 2001, the Halo series has sold more than 60 million units, generating billions of dollars in revenue. And it isn’t running out of steam yet.

Tonight, Microsoft released the opening cinematic, which starts out with Spartan Jameson Locke and his Fireteam Osiris. They’re called upon by the UNSC to recover a high-value target, Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, the creator of the Spartan warrior program. She’s in custody and claims to have information on some recent atrocities. The team descends skydiving-style on a planet with a hot landing zone full of Covenant and Promethean enemies. Microsoft describes it as the start “to the most ambitious, robust, and epic Halo campaign experience yet.”

Feast your eyes on this action. The game comes out on the Xbox One video game console on October 27.

The cinematic was directed by 343 Industries and created in collaboration with some of the video game industry’s leading creative talent, such as AXIS Animation, Profile Studios and Warner Bros.

Being apart of xg should never be about money
It should be loyalty and integrity. If an application is considered major, then the applicants loyalty and or integrity should be in question. Are they back to make a difference or just lonely. On a personal note I do wish there was some kind of partychat interview upon approval of my app.
