The King's Fall raid in Destiny's next expansion, The Taken King, will not be in the game when it launches in two weeks, Bungie told IGN at PAX Prime this weekend.
Luke Smith, the expansion's director, said the studio has a plan for when it will launch, which will be announced later. "People who are excited about the raid will know when it's time to take time off work," Smith said,.
Bungie has been discussing features of the large expansion over a live stream series which wraps up on Wednesday at 2 p.m. In the last stream, the studio gave an in-depth look at the three new subclasses The Taken King will offer, including the skill trees for each.
The designer responsible for the expansion's strikes also promised to "bring more personality" to strike bosses and reward players with exclusive gear for completing them.
The Taken King concludes the first year of Destiny, and will introduce Nolan North as the new voice of the player's Ghost companion. The expansion launches on Sept 15 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
