FAVORITE GAMING COMPANIES

Hey guys i want to here some of your favorite gaming companies are. So just type who they are and some of the things done. I'll start:

Valve: The Orange Box, Counter Strike, Half Life.

Silicon Knights: Legacy of Kain saga, Too Human (soon to be released)

Capcom: Lost Planet, Megaman, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Street Fighter

Ubisoft: Assassins Creed

Epic Studios: Gears of War, Unreal tournament 3

Activision - Call fo Duty 4

Ubisoft - blazing angels series

I like a lot of gaming companies, but the one I hate is EA.

EA hasent put anything good out in forever

Yeah, I know. Plus, on top of that, they buy-out the good companies.

yur thinking of Microsoft. I h8 them.

Microsoft doesn't buy-out gaming studios. They help the studios publish their games on to the 360.

They can't be stopped though. They're stealing companies away from Sony and Nintendo. They're mixing genera's. Almost all RPG's belong on the PS3 or 2. Nintendo gets any genera but family oriented. Xbox gets the 1st person shooters and the crappy RPG's. This explanation might sound dumb but its all in the consoles history, games history, and controller layout. They don't understand that the gaming world needs Sony and Nintendo. Microsoft is trying to destroy them both.

well that is how competition works and the 360 is so great so who cares i have all ps3 wii and 360 so it doesnt bother me

Those are products. Not companies. Now Microsoft is the company that made Xbox and Valve made the Orange Box

I don't like:

Harmonix: Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2, Rock Band
Infinity Ward: Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4
Bungie: Halo 2, Halo 3
Lionhead Studios: Fable, Fable 2 (Soon)
Konami: Metal Gear Solid 1-4, Dance Dance Revolution
Bethesda: Oblivion, Morrowind.
Nintendo: Mario and etc.

I also like some game publishers:

Activision: Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, Tony Hawk
Microsoft Game Studios: Halo 1-3, Gears of War 1-2, Crackdown

I've seen quite a few games come out recently that have even changed my opinions on game companies.

Sega has been having some issues lately but I picked up Viking: Battle for Asgard recently and it's been really good so it's nice to see them turning things around.

Capcom has RE 4 and 5 looks really good too. Dead Rising was fun.

Activision is hopefully making another Marvel Beat 'em because Ultimate Alliance was lots of fun.

Bethseda made Oblivion and Fallout 3 looks good too.

Take 2 made Bioshock and is apparently working on a prequel.

Double Fine games is responsible for Psychonauts and Brutal Legends looks promising

Valve made the Orange Box and Portal 2 is on the way.

I believe the developer is Free Radical and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but the is a game called Prototype which is a free roaming city that is in the vein of Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction.

Lucas Arts has two big title coming up Force Unleashed, and Fracture which both appear to be worth a look.
