WHICH XBOX HEADSET SHOULD I GET?

I have a 200 spending limit and want a nice pair of either turtle beaches trittons or whatever else there is. what is everyones opinions? i prefer wireless & it must have a decent volume adjustment for game & chat.

so what does everyone suggest?

well yes i suppose but ive asked 2 of my close friends that know quite a bit about gaming and they both told me a diff headset..
1 told me x41s and another told me ax270s
so im kinda stuck =/

just look them up. i have PX31 Turtles but i hear astros are good or even better.

my only problem with looking them up is i get mixed reviews and im not sure which are the best.. thats why im trying to get real life opinions..

For the price and quality, the Turtle Beach X31 are a good value. I've had them for a year and a half and am dumb founded i used to play without them.

But if your looking to spend the full $200 the X41 are the next Gen of a great headset, so I'd assume they are good quality.

my friend told me that the x41s are 100 times better than the x31s, what are the major differences between the two?

ok i have all top three headsets i have the Turtle beach XP500 the X 4s and the X 41s for astro i have the A40 this is an older model and i have there new ones A40 Wireless MLG style from Triton i have the AX pros, AX 720s and there newest set of Warheads they are all great head sets but if you want the best i would go with the Turtle Beach XP500 they are the all around best if you have any other question let me know

well the xp500 are like 70 dollars more than i have lol xD so for under 200, which of those would be the best?

for under 200 i would say the X 41s would be the best the have great sound there not XP500 but there pretty close only difference is the talk back cable is not wireless but the head set is.

okay aweesome. ive seen a few reviews saying the wireless headset interferes with a wireless connection.. is this true? because i am running off a wireless connection for my xbox.

I would have said X11 or X12s as they are far and away the best value for money, but since you dont wire I would say you are probably best off with the X31s.

They may not be as good as other models but I highly doubt you will notice the difference and even if you did it would be so minor and really not worth the extra money imho.

Either way you will really notice the difference (and it is a big difference) with any of these gaming headsets over the standard MS one.

The X11s or X12s should have better sound quality since they are wired, not sure if speaker size or number of speakers would make up for this on other models though.

yeah i use xlc's right now just cuz i got them for free lol and they already work pretty decently as far as game sound goes but i cant hear anyone.. its horrible.

You will probably be happy with any of the ones people have mentioned. The main benefit would probably be that your ears would be fully covered, which helps block out background noise.

That and the wireless if you get a headset with that feature.
