So I would like to hear what other people thought about The Walking Dead video game.

I personally thought it was good minus a few things. i was hoping that it wouldnt have looked like a comic book but graphics were good. I also was hoping that it would've had better controller layouts and a lot less talking. think i spent more time listening to them talk then actually playing the game. in the end i still think it was good but definitely lower then i expected it to be.

I haven't actually played it yet, but I hear it's a really good game. I've seen a few minutes of game play and it seems like its pretty easy to understand. But I'm not too big on 10 minute dialogues. That alone is what's keeping me from really committing to the game.

i hear ya. thats not my stye of a game either. my friends talked me into trying it and i beat all 5 dlc's within 24 hrs. achievements are pretty easy to get though

I thought it was pretty good and the animation was something new and cool to me compared to other games. I won't spoil too much, but I wasn't very happy with the ending. Also, I have to completely agree with the OP, so...much...talking. Other than that I'd say it's worth at least one play-through.

for how cheap it is. i would say its worth it if you dont mind a ton of talking through out the game. each decision you make conflicts with how the game will go. the ending was pretty lame. not sure if they will make more episodes or not though. i hope they do. i would get them just to play some more.

again the only thing that bothered me a lot was when i had to fight. figured the right trigger would've been to shoot but nope. not in this game. so when it came to fighting it was kinda complicated

I'm not sure if it's still on sale. I think it was $10 for all 5 episodes (first one was free). Anyway, that's a pretty good deal even if the play-through was pretty fast; it was still a good game minus all the dialogue. That was really the downside and took away the re-playability for me. I kind of want to see how other choices would have affected my story but I don't want to go through all the damn talking again.

On the good side it's an easy 100 achievement points if you're into that kind of thing. My suggestion would be to check and see if the first episode is still free or see if there's a demo available and try it out before you purchase. If you want a straight up opinion then I'd say I don't regret the purchase since I enjoyed the game overall (ending was kind of disappointing).

I have not played it yet. I would like to either rent it or just get it for cheap. Some of the reviews that I have read say its crap but its TWD so I'm still gonna try it out

Bingo!!! It's an easy 100 Gamerscore per episode and when it's half off, only $2.50 per episode with the 1st one being free, out of 5. I like to play it one episode at a time 1st to last and it'll see some replay to see how the different choices effect the campaign.

I played the game and I thought is was pretty good. The talking alot did drive me crazy and the ending could have been a little bit better. It was good for a cheap game to spend your time on that is why I bought it so would have something new to play when i was board of COD
