Generals: Meeting Notes/Attendance: It is important when having a meeting you have your notes prior to the meeting that you would like to go over with your clans. Also it is important to go over the notes passed down by the Section Leaders. Each general should post their meeting notes and attendance after every meeting that way any members that we unable to attend the meeting can review the information and keep up with what's going on in the clan and community. For Generals, as per the generals rank requirements, if your Section Leader is not online/available it is YOUR responsibility to out source another Section Leader for meetings. This means to not wait for a Section Leader to reach out to you but being proactive not reactive. XG Rules and Guidelines: These are not open to interpretation or modification for creating "new" rules or stances to control a situation within your section or clan. If you are not clear on what the Honor Code, Promotion Requirements, Rank Structure or Clan Structure, or any portion of what those mean, post your question in the XG Bible on what you are unclear on. The XG Bible is the only place where interpretations or amendments are documented. A link to both of those forums are below: http://www.xiledgaming.com/forumdisp...and-Guidelines http://www.xiledgaming.com/forumdisp...d-Gaming-Bible Primary Clan Games: Generals should diligent about keeping the primary game(s) of the clan up to date. This allows members to see what games each clan is gaming on when reviewing the website. It also helps when someone is looking to transfer a member or place a GWG applicant into a clan. So make sure your primary games updated. Also clans with one squad and 3-4 primary games tend to be an issue because it spreads the members and there is no growth. The rule of thumb should be that you have one squad dedicated to any game listed as a primary game. It is perfectly fine for members to play as many games as they wish but there should be a focus on the game that the clan is built on. Squad sizes: We have a lot of 20+ members squads, which seems like a good "problem" to have but can be detrimental to the clans overall growth. The squads should be growing leadership at the same rate that they are growing members. The goal of the current clan structure, which has been in place almost three years, is "to create smaller, tighter, more personal clans." This obviously correlates to squad sizes as well. Holiday Schedule: Keeping open lines of communication through out the holiday season with the leadership that is in direct chain of command is important. We all know that the season may side line us with family get togethers but it is your responsibility to let the leadership know if you are not going to be available for a meeting and or a game night. Having someone that can sit in and uphold while you are unavailable is your responsibility. These are responsibilities that were agreed upon when you accepted the promotion to the rank that you are currently up holding.
