This thread is designed to help you, the General, and I work together to make sure everything is in order for your clan split. The following information is what is required to submit and complete a clan split. Any and all questions should be directed to your Section Leader.
Clans can and will split with a minimum of 20 members and a maximum of 30 members. This is a guideline not a rule.
Clans will split when leadership in the clan is ready! Regardless of how many members are in the clan!
Section Leaders will post the information for the clan split ( see below ) in this thread and then discuss the split with Division Leaders who will approve all clan splits at the Sunday night Meetings. This is a conversation not an interview or interrogation.
The Clan must have a complete clan structure in place.
One General, One Captain, One Lieutenant and their group of people leave to start the new clan. (6-10 members including the General, Captain, Lieutenant)
There is no minimum or maximum of sergeants or privates to complete a clan split.
Sections Leaders will add all of the moved members to their friend list and be available to assist with questions and recruiting if necessary. Anything to ensure the success of both clans.
A Section leader must be extremely involved in the new clan as well as the split clan to ensure success of the squads until the clan reaches 20 members. The Section Leader must also ensure that no one is left behind.
Community Leaders will oversee that the split is done properly.
Division Leaders and Community Leaders will add the leaders (General, Captain, Lieutenant) to check in and be available to talk and offer advice.
All of the following information needs to be posted by the Section Leaders to assist the Division Leaders in approving the clan split as well as to keep record of it. It is recommended that you just copy and paste the info below into your request and then fill in the details needed. *** You Must Follow this format or your request will be DENIED.***

A Division Leader will review the information and mark the status as Pending. If additional information is required it will be posted under the official request. We will need to address any issues immediately or the request will be Denied.
All Clan Splits will be discussed at the Sunday Meeting and a decision made at that time.
Once the clan split is approved or denied the approving leader must reply to the request confirming it as approved or explain why it was denied.
If approved the Section Leader must post a request in the REQUEST NEW CLAN thread so it can be created.
Division Leaders will create the new clan's usergroup and forum, then move all members into the new clan's usergroup. At this point, any inactive or MIA members will be removed from the clan user group to reflect an accurate clan list. They will also assign the appropriate Moderators and Leaders to the Forum and usergroup.
If they are not an admin they will contact an admin to have it done and then proceed with everything else once the usergroup and forum is setup.
All of this should be done within 24 hours of approving the clan split
