This week’s list of the most played Xbox 360 games is nearly identical to the last. Call of Duty 4 is once again on top, followed by Halo 3 and Grand Theft Auto IV. The rest of the list is quite similar as well with no major shakeups to note. 

Even the Xbox Live Arcade list of the most purchased games is showing signs of stagnation. The most purchased game is the same as last week, Commando 3. The two new releases, Elements of Destruction and Sea Life Safari, took second and third respectively.

The Top Live Titles list, as reported by Major Nelson , ranks unique users playing Xbox 360 games while connected to Live. The Top Arcade Titles list is based on the number of full versions sold in a given week.
