The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) opened the online registration for the “Halo 3″ Xbox 360 Competition, to be hosted at the Extreme Winter Championships taking place Tuesday, December 18 to Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, Texas.
For the next few days the registration fee for the “Halo 3″ Xbox 360 Competition will be $275, which includes BYOC while spots are available. Gamers of all ages and nationalities can register. No previous tournament experience or pre-qualification is required. Competition participants under the age of 17 need signed parental consents. The CPL provides the consent form at www.thecpl.com/forms/parental_release.pdf
To register for the “Halo 3″ Competition fill out the secure online form at https://www.thecpl.com/winter/index.php?p=register - Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
Spectator passes are available for $20. Family and friends accompanying registered competitors can sign up as spectators and gain admission to the event for all five-days.
The CPL has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Hyatt Regency hotel, once the current room block is taken the CPL will seek special rates at other hotels.
