I LIVE EVERY WEEK LIKE IT'S SHARK WEEK. I'm 28, from Livonia, Michigan, and and just got out of the Army after spending five years as a line medic in a Stryker brigade. I just moved back to Michigan after spending most of the last half decade in Alaska, with a 16 or so month vacation in Iraq. I have a daughter that is the center of my life. I would do anything for her. I also have a dog, Roxy, who lives with me, and another dog, Molly, and a cat, Fermi; though they both live with my ex. My greatest loves, aside from my family, are sports, movies, reading, writing, and music. I love the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Pistons, New England Patriots, and the Detroit Tigers and Lions. Nothing better than a Tiger's game in the summer or a Wings game in the winter. I enjoy playing soccer, broomball, running, martial arts (krav maga and ju jitsu), backpacking, and lifting weights; as well as watching football and hockey, although I'll watch most any sport. I love road trips, especially spontaneous ones. I could sit in Barnes and Noble for hours... and have. I will never get sick of late night runs to Jimmy Johns or Ram's Horn or Dennys. I get off on trivia and random, crazy knowledge. I could spend all day walking around a museum... any museum. Love Cranbrook, the DIA, and the Smithsonians. I love animals and hate seeing them abused. want to visit China and Antarctica. I am struggling to learn the guitar. I took three years of high school German, and barely remember a thing... and when I was your age, Pluto really WAS a planet. I'm also very interested in journalism, and am currently writing my first book (though it's slow going), mostly about the Army and some of my experiences in Iraq, and I'd like to continue writing in the future. If you wanna know anything else, feel free to ask. I'm pretty open, and will talk to anyone about anything, as long as I've got the time... ok, maybe not everyone. See below. I have a Christmas fetish. Oh yeah, and Batman... I like Batman. A lot.
