I am an Xbox Ambassador. I also am a co-founder/lead designer of xboxambassadors.com, but the site isn't up yet. Basically what ambassadors are supposed to do are help people out who are new to xbox live. We get our own special little icon on the xbox.com forums too so you can find us. I am a California ambassador and I'm always here to help!

XBOX Ambassadors have nothing to do with XG, although I think we may have a few. Basically they are there to direct noobs of XBL. I'm not sure exactly how well the program works, because I think the noob has to go to the XBL website to search for Ambassadors in their geographic area. Basically, they represent XBL and show people that are new to XBL how to use it, how to game, bla bla bla, etc. Here is a little something from the XBL site...

Cow if I may call you that I been trying to get involved with certain things in communities online so if anyone needs help I am usually on so send me a message and I do not mind offering as much help as can give whether it be with xbox gaming, or networking questions.

We're like the Live tour-guides if needed. Show them features, help them with any issues theyre having, party up for a few games... Its a nice thing to have for new users who have no clue what theyre doing...

If you want to be an ambassador you have the watch the Xbox.com forums for times when triXie is recruiting new waves. As long as you havent been banned from Live before, your basically in.

Well its purely a volunteer position, so you only need to put as much time as you want into it. All thats expected of you is that your treat others w/ respect, help people regardless of their race/views/etc and help to keep the Xbox community a strong/fun place to be part of..

Almost exactly like the honor code here. Im sure you could take part w/out effecting your duties here, or your life outside of gaming
