Making A Difference

I've naturally always been a rather observant person. I often find myself thinking about things that might slip others' minds when they're going about their day-to-day lives. I couldn't help but to notice how much negativity has been floating around the community as of late. People seem to forget what this community is all about.. We're here to have an enjoyable time gaming, with company you love doing just that with. To make sure all of our fellow members, old or new, experience just that as well. Negativity is always going to exist. As will hate. These feelings/emotions are embedded into the human skull, in some shape or form. A perfect world is never going to exist, even in thought it's ludicrous. This is a gaming community, we are here to do just that; among acquainting yourselves with others. I believe creating a toxic atmosphere in general is foolish but especially in this case, being as we are communicating through a gaming console. I would be ignorant to believe that this is going to change how anyone treats each other as individuals. Ultimately that decision is yours. I more or less just wanted to shed some positive light. Always be humble. Appreciate the small things. Pay attention to what's happening around you. Do you realize when something has been taken too far? If it has, do you just sit there & watch it happen? Do you speak up? Or is it all in good fun? Recognize the difference. Once the xbox is turned off, you don't have a clue what goes on inside that person's home. With that being said, please do not confuse this. I am not implying that you need to involve yourself or worry about what is happening in someone else's personal life. We are here to game, not be someone's "therapist". What I'm trying to say is be mindful. Be mindful of yourself, be mindful of your peers. Always. I have a goofy personality. The minute I turn my Xbox on & begin interacting with fellow members, I strive to make someone's day a bit better than it was. Even if it is something as small as making another person smile or laugh, I feel ecstatic. Even if they're in a good mood, why not make it great? See someone playing by themselves, why not include them? Small things are all that it takes to make the biggest difference. Everyone I've met in the community thus far have been nothing short of wonderful. You all have made my time here lovely & I appreciate all of you for allowing me to be where I am, for including me, & making this quite the wild adventure I never imagined it would be. I wouldn't ever take it back. Even if you didn't take anything from this, please just let it graze your mind. Think about how you treat yourself, how you're treating your peers.

Make a positive difference.

I don't see any other way to end this than with the corniest joke I could think of..
What do you call a bear in the rain? ...a drizzly bear.
Terribly cheesy joke. But I'm willing to bet someone at least grinned after reading it, in all of it's awful glory. Which means my mission is accomplished.

Please take care & be safe everyone. I hope you guys/gals enjoy the rest of your week.
